Since completing her MA, Jennifer has worked in independent schools in Texas, Virginia, and Ohio teaching myriad courses, including Latin IA - Honors Latin IV, Honors English Literature, American Literature, SAT Prep, and History. Jennifer was also a Humanities Department Chair, supervising teachers of World Languages & the Arts. Some other past duties have included a Summer School Dean of Academics and Chair of the VAIS (Virginia Association of Independent Schools) Accreditation Committee for HMA.
In her free time she enjoys reading and staying active outside. Her family, including her children, Julianna and Miles, as well as her husband Tim, "is the light of my life". Jennifer is thrilled to be back in her home state of Texas, enjoying the BBQ and Mexican food she has missed and being near her beloved Red Raiders! She looks forward to continuing to introduce students to the joys of Latin and also to help students learn how to argue in AP English.
