B.A. in English and Secondary Education from WTAMU; M.A. in English from WTAMU; M.Ed. in Counseling from WTAMU.  

Kim began teaching in 1997 and holds certifications in ELA, Speech, Theater, Counseling, Gifted & Talented Education and ESL.  After retiring from AISD, where she taught ELA and Professional Communications, she joined Amarillo College as an adjunct in the English Department.  She has been an active volunteer with the Amarillo Little Theatre for 23 years doing everything from acting to directing to building costumes.  Aside from theatre, Kim's hobbies include reading, traveling, trivia, and watching the New Orleans Saints.  But her favorite activity is being Mama Kim to Zadie, Chloe, Ryan, and Amelia.
