Kristy Fuller


Kristy Fuller teaches students in Ascension's Middle School Global Religions I class. She comes to Ascension Academy with a diverse work background.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio and raised in NM, She and her husband Mike Fuller, have raised their family in Amarillo since 1993.

Kristy is certified in Accounting, and she has worked in the Savings and Loan Industry as well as LJK Investments here in Amarillo. She is also a certified fitness trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and she served as a personal trainer with folks with disabilities at Amarillo College’s Carter Fitness Center. In addition, Kristy is certified in Early Childhood Education, and she worked at St. Mary’s Catholic School as an assistant montessori teacher as well as working in various capacities in the Home Daycare System.

At home in a variety of faith communities, Kristy has been Ordained as an Elder at St. Luke PCUSA; she studied under Father Pat Hawk, Roshi at Bishop DeFalco Retreat Center; she is an Oblate with the Benedictine Monastery in Canyon, TX; she sat in contemplation with the Buddhists; she studied Ayurveda with the Hindus; she served on the Local Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of Amarillo,  and she is currently Worship Chair at Amarillo Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.

Kristy looks forward to bringing her experience with youth from a variety of faiths to this position. In here spare time, she volunteers at High Plains Public Radio and Amarillo Area Autism in Action.
