R.N. - ADN - Amarillo College

Judy Merker R.N., serves Ascension Academy as the school nurse/director of student health. This is her first year at Ascension Academy.  She coordinates CPR/AED training for staff.

Certified in spinal, vision and hearing screenings.  She also works as a home health nurse to post nuclear energy workers in our area.  Prior to coming to Ascension Academy Mrs. Merker worked  11 yrs as a public school nurse, BSA Hospital, Harrington Cancer center and as a disaster relief nurse during Covid.  In her spare time she and her husband enjoy spending time with grandchildren and traveling.
