At Ascension Academy, we take pride in the quality of education we provide our students. In doing so, we hope to ignite fires that will encourage them to be lifelong learners. As an independent college preparatory school, we receive no state or federal funding. Therefore, we rely upon faithful givers who understand the value of education. We are grateful for your support as it contributes to future generations of Ascension students. There are several ways you can support Ascension through giving. If you need more information about any of these options, please call our office at (806) 342-0515.
The Annual Fund is comprised of tax-deductible gifts from parents, grandparents, alumni, trustees, faculty, staff, and community supporters. These gifts are unrestricted and support our programs and students in tangible ways.
An effective way of contributing to the future of Ascension Academy is through investing in Ascension’s Endowment Fund. Ascension Academy Endowment funds are being created to support the operations and maintenance of the campus, help provide financial assistance and scholarships, and help underwrite the costs of technology, academic programs, athletics, and transportation.
Ascension Academy accepts gifts of stock. Stock transfers can be applied to pledge payments.
Many companies have matching gift programs for their employees, retirees, and families. These programs can often double your gifts to our school. Check with your employer to see if you can take advantage of this benefit.
Gifts of real estate may include developed property, undeveloped property, or gifts subject to a prior life interest. Real Estate may be given outright or through a bequest or may be used to fund a charitable trust or other life income plans.
The school welcomes contributions in the form of bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder or lead trusts, pooled income funds, and other estate financial vehicles.
The school can provide information on how you may name Ascension Academy as beneficiary and/or owner of a life insurance policy. For information on how you may include Ascension Academy in your charitable giving, please call the main office at (806) 342-0515.
A QCD or Qualified Charitable Distribution allows individuals who are 70½ years old or older to donate to one or more charities directly from a taxable IRA instead of taking their required minimum distributions. For more information, talk with your tax consultant or financial adviser.
