Sarah has worked in Marketing, Public Relations and Development positions in Amarillo for almost 20 years, and in the nonprofit sector for the past 9 years. Silva is a West Texas A&M University alum.
She is active in the community and has served on various committees and boards including the American Advertising Federation- Amarillo Chapter, March of Dimes, Martha's Home and many others.
"I’ve always had a passion for education. Teaching wasn’t my path, so I’m grateful to be in a position where I can use my skill set while also witnessing children learn and find their unique talents.,” says Silva.
Sarah loves spending time with her family. She and her husband Art have 2 kids- Ethan and Madison, and their pets-a Basset Hound named Jessie, a Golden-doodle named Max and a 3-legged cat named Jempi.
She loves summertime the most because it includes baseball games, fireworks, cookouts, and travel.
